Our mission
Advertisement videos, news and online courses are usually recorded in only one language. Expanding a brand globally by distributing videos in English isn't always effective (South America, China, etc.). Voiceover artists are expensive and often difficult to find. The delivery of final video is slow. Plus there are other delays in the process (arranging the price, signing the service contract, payment management).
By localizing video content, LingoDub aims to connect video content creators with new customers from unexplored markets, and by doing so, increase video content creators’ reach, influence and revenue.
Translation quality
Automatic translation: LingoDub uses cutting edge AI to perform voice recognition, text translation and voice synthesis. The platform is best suited for translating videos with clear speech. In such setup, it can translate the speech with accuracy of 95% or more. However, we are aware that some videos will have background noise in the audio, speaker overlap, a specific accent. Therefore, we are providing our customers a free subtitle editor which can be used for self-service manual review. We also provide manual review by a team of certified translators at an additional charge, for which the value can be found in the Pricing section below. Once the corrections have been applied, a new video can be generated at no extra charge. To get a sense of how manually reviewed translation quality looks like, we created a gallery of examples, containing a small number of videos translated by our customers.
